Fabricated necklace.

This piece is a reliquary for Megan Letha Anderson. The tragedy of her loss was paralyzing and making the piece was my way of honoring her memory. I chose the vessel shape in reference to a transition or journey. The inner piece represents a root system containing her hair and the growth and light above producing beauty and hope. The end and larger flower form is a worry or prayer bead. The necklace is long enough for the wearer to examine it while being worn.
